Area of offence to other religions or belief systems:

This book contains material that could be offensive to a any religion that preaches that salvation comes through working through the dictates of the belief system. The whole book attacks the idea that there is a human solution for the normal challenges that any human faces on a day to day basis, only through complete trust in Christ can anyone find rest and happiness and become useful.

This resource would be appropriate to give to an unsaved individual who is:

Very open to religion, Somewhat open to religion, Private or Timid about religion, Hesitant about religion, Uncomfortable about religion

This book would be enjoyed by a person who is:

Moderately Intellectual, Commonsensical

The Main Point Or Most Powerful Message:
The book has a strong emphasis on not trying to solve everything ourselves but putting our complete trust in God to take care of our everyday needs.

Brief Description:

The book is based on four passages of Scripture: Exodus 17, Numbers 20, Hebrews 3, and Hebrews 4. The first three passages describe the principles of faith rest and Hebrews 4 describes the mechanics of it.

Comments:

I consider this book to have had the greatest affect on my life when my family was young. I would consider it to be an excellent book to explain to someone with some religious background why the Christian life properly oriented is clearly what God intended for everyone and will result in a life of rest and trust in God for everything we will face.
